Lovely afternoon/evening in Robin Hood’s Bay. Didn’t hike there this time. Rumour has it the town itself has a tradition of smuggling of tea, rum, gin, brandy and tobacco from France and the Netherlands, mostly to avoid the duty. Secret passageways link some of the houses. Most of this are reputed from the 1770s. Loads of fossils can be found here on the beaches of course.
