The Skerwink trail near Trinity, Newfoundland is an awesome little hiking trail on a small headland the edge of some small cliff surrounded by several little coves. It’s only 5.3 km long and has absolutely gorgeous views on sunny days. We were lucky and happened to be there a couple of days after the capelin run started. That meant that whales and other marine wildlife would shortly follow. Sure enough, we saw these amazing guys chowing down on a massive school of capelin… and we weren’t even on a boat!
