Fox Glacier is famous for two reasons… the awesome Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson. The Lake Matheson walk is amazing in the early morning and late evening. It a place you definitely want to spend time at. The mountains and weather changes frequently, which makes it so unique.
Hokitika Gorge is a beatutiful gorge with blue-green water on the south island in New Zealand – specifically in Hokitika Gorge Scenic Reserve, about 33 km east of Hokitika. The Devil’s Punchbowl is a easy hike to an impressive 131m tall waterfall.
Castle Hill is on highway 73 on the South Island of New Zealand. It’s a climber’s paradise and has similar limestone formations as Flock Hill nearby – famous for the battle scenes from one of the Chronicles of Narnia movies. Was cool and climbable. Can confirm.
